This Privacy Policy applies when you use the JustChess website, mobile application, player profiles, chess games, ratings, matchmaking, account features, customer support, and any other JustChess service that links to this policy.

Third-party websites or services linked from JustChess are governed by their own privacy policies.

Account Information

When you create a JustChess account, we may collect:

• Your email address
• Your date of birth

Public Profile Information

JustChess uses real-name player profiles. Your real name and Elo rating are visible to other JustChess players.

Your email address, date of birth, login information, private support messages, and technical information are not displayed publicly.

Chess and Service Activity

We may process information about your use of JustChess, including:

• Games played
• Game results
• Rating changes
• Matchmaking activity
• Account actions
• Player reports
• Moderation records

We may also process gameplay and account signals to identify cheating, manipulation, harassment, unauthorized access, or other violations of our rules.

Technical and Diagnostic Information

We may collect a limited amount of technical information necessary to operate and troubleshoot JustChess. This may include:

• Operating system

• Technical error logs

Where reasonably possible, technical information is collected in an anonymous, aggregated, or de-identified form.

Your real name and Elo rating are public and may be viewed by other JustChess players.

We do not publicly display your:

• Login credentials
• Private support communications
• Technical or diagnostic information

Please consider the public nature of your real name before creating an account.

7. NO ADVERTISING OR CROSS-SERVICE TRACKING

JustChess does not use third-party advertising frameworks to deliver targeted advertisements.

We do not:

• Sell or rent your personal information
• Build advertising profiles about you
• Share your information with data brokers
• Track your activity across unrelated companies’ applications or websites
• Use your email address or date of birth for third-party advertising

Limited technical diagnostics used to maintain JustChess are not used for advertising.

8. WHEN INFORMATION MAY BE DISCLOSED

JustChess does not disclose personal information for advertising or commercial data brokerage.

Essential Service Providers

We may use carefully selected providers for services such as cloud hosting, authentication, security, email delivery, data storage, and crash reporting.

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to JustChess and must protect it under appropriate contractual obligations.

Deleting your account may permanently remove your profile, rating history, access to previous games, and other account information.

Limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.We may ask you to verify your identity before completing a deletion request.

12. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request access to personal information held about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your information
• Obtain a portable copy of certain information
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request

We may need to verify that the request relates to your account.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

13. CHILDREN AND YOUNG PLAYERS

JustChess is intended for users who meet the minimum age stated in our Terms and Conditions.

Users under 7 years old may use JustChess only with the permission or verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without any consent required by applicable law.

A parent or guardian who believes that a child has provided information improperly should contact support@eulabs.us

14. INFORMATION SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.

These safeguards may include access controls, encrypted communications, secure authentication, monitoring, and controlled data-storage practices.

No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting your password, verification codes, and devices. Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

15. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING

JustChess and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.

Where required, we use appropriate contractual, technical, or organizational safeguards for international transfers.
